Paris (AJ) Adkins-Jackson is a community member who seeks to improve the quality of life of under-resourced communities. She does so by engaging intuitive and spiritual practices such as community-partnered and multidisciplinary research. Her current work involves the development and evaluation of tools to measure racism in medical centers, stress due to discrimination, and self-care for Black women. Additionally, AJ‘s research focuses on the cost effectiveness of partnering community organizations with healthcare services.
